I am a cognitive neuroscientist and lab director of the Neurocognition and Psychophysics Laboratory in the Department of Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan. You can find more information about my research and lab at www.neurocognitionlab.com My research is aimed at better understanding the brain processes that underlie perception and attention. Much of my focus is on multisensory integration - how the senses interact to produce a coherent and unified perception of the world. My research takes a multidisciplinary approach to investigating the cognitive and cortical mechanisms that govern perception and attention. I combine cognitive and psychophysical methods with sophisticated eye tracking techniques and an innovative neuropsychology method called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
